At last month’s FutureStack15 conference in San Francisco, Matt Richins, cloud architect at Rackspace, spoke about “Modern Mobile Apps: Containers vs. CLI” before a large audience of developers, IT experts, and technologists.

Matt discussed the state of container services and demonstrated the process of getting a mobile application up and running on a cloud container service. He walked his audience through modern mobile app architectures and compared a container deployment to setting up a new server via the traditional command-line interface. Finally, he discussed the challenges that can arise when running containers beyond demo scale.
