It’s hardly a secret that the migration of enterprise applications and databases to the cloud just keeps on accelerating. The benefits of the cloud—from dynamic provisioning of resources to faster application development and greater app uptime—just can’t be denied. Inside of an application portfolio, the case for moving to the cloud can vary as widely as the dependencies and sensitivities of the applications and teams. When moving hundreds or thousands of applications, companies often need help connecting the various cloud migration services, platforms, and consulting outfits into a seamless team focused on their journey into the cloud.

futurestack new yorkCompeting and succeeding in this fast-moving market requires deep knowledge and understanding of all elements of this fundamental technological and cultural transformation, which isn’t easy for any one provider to achieve on its own.

That’s why on Tuesday, September 12, the day before the official opening of FutureStack: New York, New Relic is hosting the Cloud Migration Partner Summit at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel. (New Relic partners: register now before this free event fills up!)

The all-day event will focus on successes and trends in major cloud migration projects and the critical technological and business transformations that follow. Who should attend?

We’ve planned the Cloud Migration Partner Summit to have value for a wide variety of cloud migration professionals, including business and technical leads, program and professional services leaders, managed service provider (MSP) strategists, and channel reps.

Cloud migration practice business and technical leads: Tight deadlines, complex applications, consultant utilization, and a need to demonstrate success haunt migration practice leaders. Practice leads for system integrators and other consulting organizations need to be up to speed on best practices in migration methodologies as well as measurement techniques to prove project successes.

Cloud platform migration program and professional services leaders: You’ve worked hard to develop methodologies and incentive programs to accelerate migrations and re-platforming onto your cloud. The Cloud Migration Partner Summit offers the ideal environment to share your successes and aspirations with leading consulting practices, integrators, and ISVs. We’ll discuss ways of managing accountability across multiple teams in complex IT environments and making cloud migration projects faster and more repeatable.

MSP strategists: Migrating and re-platforming applications can be risky. MSPs focused on making technology adoption easier for customers need to accelerate the pace of migrations with less risk and more consistency.

Channel and reseller reps: As you help customers navigate from building their own data centers to using cloud services, the Cloud Migration Partner Summit can help you give organizations the tools and methodologies to evaluate and migrate their applications while participating in New Relic’s updated co-selling and revenue-sharing model.

Agenda highlights
