Software development seems to be going through another renaissance. There are so many languages and platforms to write for, and the audience to use these tools and pay for them is growing.
We talk to a lot of developers and while they’re all working very hard, they appear to be the happiest and most excited group of people we’ve ever met. At the 2013 DeveloperWeek Hackathon in San Francisco we asked attendees, “Why is now the best time to be a developer?”
