Lew Cirne Takes Centre Stage with Keynote at Prestigious Web Summit in Dublin

Marking another step in building New Relic’s global presence, our founder and CEO Lew Cirne is set for multiple appearances at the Web Summit Technology Conference, in Dublin, Ireland.

Following on from the opening of our Dublin office in February, a visit from Ireland Prime Minister Enda Kenny to our San Francisco headquarters in June, and our recent purchase of Ducksboard in Barcelona, Spain, Lew’s appearances at the Web Summit offer yet another opportunity to showcase New Relic’s brand and products in front a wider, international audience.

Moments Matter

logo-summitOn Tuesday morning, November 4, Lew will deliver a keynote address on the Enterprise Stage called “Moments Matter.” His presentation will cover the importance of well-designed, high-performance software to running a successful business—just about any successful business.

Later on Tuesday, Lew will take Centre Stage to sit down for a “fireside chat” with The Los Angeles Times’ Russ Mitchell to discuss “Software is the New Storefront.” They will talk about ways companies can stay connected with their customers in an increasingly digital, software-centered world.

Finally, Lew will moderate and participate in two exclusive Enterprise X roundtables for a select audience of invited VIPs. The roundtables will center on the topic of “High-Velocity Software Development: Your Secret Weapon to Driving Digital Business.”

Making the Summit

The Web Summit, subtitled “Where the Tech World Meets,” and sometimes described as “Davos for Geeks,” has quickly become one of the most influential international technology conferences, showcasing more than 500 world-class speakers. Joining Lew in on the event’s 10 stages will be bold-faced tech names like Amazon CTO Werner Vogels, investor Peter Thiel, Dropbox founder Drew Houston, Zynga founder Mark Pincus, and Evernote CEO Phil Libin, and many more. There will also be high-profile tech media personalities like Tim O’Reilly, Henry Blodgett, and Robert Scoble. And adding a bit of glamor for the 20,000 attendees are stars like Tony Hawk and Eva Longoria (who has the tough task of speaking just 15 minutes after Lew’s fireside chat).

Will attendees run into Lew on one of the Web Summit’s famous pub crawls? Who knows? Watch this space (and our Twitter feed) for details as they happen.
