We are very excited to host our very first New Relic user group in Sydney, Australia! On Tuesday, March 3rd at 6 p.m., the New Relic team will be in town at Anchor HQ, Level 23, 201 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, and we look forward to pulling together current New Relic users and/or anyone interested in learning more about New Relic for drinks, pizza (of course) and some great data nerd dialogue.
And yes, there will be New Relic T-shirts!
The evening kicks off with a presentation on how to get the most from New Relic by William Li, a senior sales engineer at New Relic. In addition to answering any technical questions that may arise, Will is also responsible for demonstrating how New Relic can help make lives easier for developers. His colorful career includes technical sales, software configuration management, and ad operations at such companies as IBM, Palm, and Yahoo!
Will’s talk will focus on tips and tricks, covering topics like: Apdex and alerting, managing deployments, creating custom performance views, browser performance issues, and much more.
Later in the evening, Oliver Brennan, senior software engineer at Australian fashion and footwear e-tailer The Iconic, will discuss how he maximizes New Relic to let him get a very pleasant night of rest. Oliver has more than seven years of experience in building e-commerce, online marketing and custom Web solutions. Originally from the UK, Oliver has been living in Australia for the past four years.
