First NYC, Now LA! The New Relic User Group Heads to SoCal

Last month, we ventured to the East Coast to host our first ever New Relic User Group in New York City. Thank you to our friends at Gilt for kindly opening their doors and letting us fill the room with 30-plus New Relic data nerds for an evening of networking and presentations from Conde Nast’s Chris Handy and New Relic’s very own Gil Rice.

Not only was it a killer event complete with lots of connections made, informative technical talks given, and delicious bites and beer consumed, but we also took time to learn more about what our customers want to see out of these events. The key takeaway? You want to learn more about how to get the most value out of New Relic products. With that in mind, we’re heading to the West Coast next and this time we’re bringing even more New Relic expert tips and insight.

Next stop = LA!

For this West Coast adventure we’ll be posting up at the ThinkNear offices in Culver City on September 10th. Once again, it will be an evening of networking, learning, and Q&A with New Relic users and experts.

The Speakers

We’re excited to feature three expert talks with speakers hailing from Reach Local, Washio, and of course New Relic. You’ll be a New Relic expert in no time!

First up, you’ll hear from Reach Local’s senior director of engineering CT Rhude and his colleague Tim Fox. They’ll be discussing how New Relic can help build a bridge for Ops and Engineering partnerships—specifically as it pertains to maintaining both engineering visibility and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Next up, we’re excited to feature Bob Wall, CTO of mobile laundry delivery service Washio. Bob will walk through how the company that’s taking everyone by storm uses New Relic to keep its app up and running during high demand.

Finally, our product manager, John Karabaic, will give a talk on using New Relic Plugins effectively—diving into how to instrument and monitor nearly anything.  John will also give an overview of using New Relic Expert Services.

As always, tasty snacks, and beverages will be provided.

All New Relic users and fans are welcome—RSVP now. We look forward to seeing you there!
