Tier 3 Enhances Enterprise-Ready PaaS with New Relic Application Management

Tier 3 logoGreat news for Tier 3 customers. Today, New Relic announced its availability in Web Fabric, the Tier 3 multilingual Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). Now, Web Fabric customers can take advantage of New Relic, integrated free of charge, for deep, real-time visibility into application performance.

Web Fabric accelerates enterprise developer operations with quick and easy application deployment and management. Users can deploy applications in minutes, while Web Fabric’s intelligent systems handle the details of capacity provisioning, load balancing, auto-scaling, and application health monitoring. And because Web Fabric runs on Tier 3’s Enterprise Cloud Platform – a VMWare vCloud® Powered Service – developers get the reliability and performance they need with the ease and agility they want. The service leverages Cloud Foundry and Iron Foundry to support a broad set of languages and frameworks including Java, .NET, Ruby, PHP, Python, and Node.js while ensuring interoperability across clouds.

New Relic is fully integrated into Tier 3 Web Fabric and available free of charge. When customers create their Web Fabric environment, Tier 3 automatically provisions a New Relic account for them at no cost. The new Tier 3 Control Panel dashboard shows a subset of New Relic’s metrics to give users a picture of their application’s health with single-sign-on into their New Relic account for detailed performance data.

Tier 3 customers have three options for accessing New Relic in Tier 3’s Enterprise Cloud Platform:

  1. Claim their free New Relic Standard account by signing up through our partnership.
  2. Contact Tier 3 to learn more about Web Fabric.
  3. Deploy New Relic as an optional software package as they configure and deploy complex environments via Tier 3’s cloud orchestration feature, Blueprints.

For more information, see our Tier 3 partnership page or stop by the Tier 3 and New Relic booths (#529 and 531) at VMworld 2012 to see it in action.
