Schawk Digital Solutions (SDS) is a group within SDK that specializes in graphic design, packaging, and digital promotion, which it delivers primarily through its client-facing BLUE™ platform. Although Kamila attributes SDS’ success to a number of different New Relic features, a couple of them stand out:
- Real User Monitoring (RUM): Helps the SDS team understand how BLUE performs differently in different parts of the world, which is important for a global company like SGK.
- Transaction Traces: Collects data from SDS’ slowest individual HTTP requests, all the way down to the SQL.
- New Relic Platform: Enables the SDS operations team to monitor its entire application environment from one centralized dashboard, combining all key metrics from other monitoring applications in a single pane of glass.
With these capabilities, SDS has been able to save significant amounts of time, money and resources, which in turn has enabled more time for the company to drive innovation. And the extra time for innovation has certainly paid off.
