DNN Partners with New Relic to Add Significant Value for Customers [Video]

Here at New Relic, we’re proud of our world-class partner program and the large ecosystem of partners we work with. We often share stories of how our customers are using New Relic but don’t often talk in depth about our partners. Today we’re sharing the first in a series of partner case studies, which will showcase a wide range of partners and the different ways they’re partnering with New Relic, and the successes we’ve shared.


What DNN does

DNN provides a suite of solutions for creating rich, rewarding online experiences for customers, partners, and employees. DNN products and technology are the foundation for 800,000+ websites worldwide. The company began in 2006 as DotNetNuke, an open-source Web content management system (CMS) built on Microsoft .NET. Since incorporating in 2009, the company has introduced a full suite of commercial CMS and social community solutions that are available both on premise and in the cloud.

The partnership between New Relic and DNN started when DNN was looking for an application performance management tool to help the team not only monitor its own website and .NET environment, but more importantly, to deliver the speed and reliability critical to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

“We wanted to work with an organization that could add value by integrating their monitoring technology with our Evoq solutions, particularly in the cloud,” said Bob Kruger, senior vice president of engineering, DNN. “With New Relic, we can help our customers optimize the performance of their websites and online communities by quickly identifying problem areas, whether they’re on premise or in the cloud. It’s a crucial component of our managed service offering.”

Like many of our partners, DNN is also a New Relic customer. Today, DNN uses New Relic APM, Servers, Browser, and Platform to monitor its Evoq Content and Evoq Social solutions in the cloud, in addition to its public website, online store, and its intranet.
