New Relic's 1000th Customer Honored

Nannies On CallThis week we were all watching the RPM sign-up activity with more than our usual excitement. We entered the week a few production customers short of 1000. In just 6 months, more than 1000 customers have deployed RPM to monitor and improve their production Rails applications.

The 1000th customer is called Nannies on Call (www.nanniesoncall.com). The business is Western Canada’s premier childcare agency serving Calgary, Vancouver and Whistler. They have been offering exceptional on call, temporary, part-time and full-time nanny services since 2001. If you are a parent, you will appreciate the concern and apprehension you feel when you need to find a trust-worthy babysitter. Nannies on Call helps their customers by finding responsible, experienced nannies, providing training, and offering a convenient online way of scheduling them in advance (using an RoR app).

Michelle Kelsey, the owner, created Nannies on Call in response to her own experience as a mother of two. Her husband Hugh Kelsey created the site, though he admits he is “not a professional developer. I just hacked it together and now I am going to use RPM to make it better.”
