New Relic Data, Now Available On Your Android Phone!

Last year we launched the New Relic iOS App for iPhone and iPad, which was very well received, with adoption rates of 17% in our customer base, and >250,000 pushes being sent daily! Today, we aim to make our Android customer base very happy with the launch of the New Relic Android App! We’re very excited!

The New Relic Android App allows you to view all the New Relic data you love, at any time, no matter where you are. You can get real-time push notifications for everything you track in New Relic–whether you’re at the movies, on the move, or at a party, we’ve got you covered.

Real-time data and critical problem alerts, on the go

From app server and browser metrics to mobile app data and key transactions, our new Android app gives you constant access to how your apps are performing. View all the standard New Relic charts, including page view timing details, end-user satisfaction ratings (Apdex), http response times and error rates and server resource utilization data.

If you have warning and critical alerts set up in your New Relic dashboard, you can get push notifications on your Android phone anytime there is a problem. Select an alert to view more details about it, and acknowledge an alert to let your teammates know that you’re going to be working on it. Any time a fellow teammate acknowledges an alert, you will receive a push notification that this alert has been acknowledged – on-the-go collaboration at its best.

Get historical visibility and error data, easily

When viewing data inside an application, mobile app, or any other server, you can easily switch the time window on the top right to move from 30 minutes to 7 days. You can also choose to view any errors or events that have occurred for this application from right inside this screen.

That’s a quick snapshot of just some of the amazing features in the New Relic Android app. There’s a lot more you can do with it, and we’re confident you will love it: Download and start using it today!

P.S. To use the New Relic Android app, you need a New Relic account. If you don’t have one yet, sign up for a free account, deploy the New Relic agent(s) into your apps, and start accessing your performance data anytime, anywhere. Happy Monitoring!
