magento logoToday we’re excited to share the news that e-commerce platform vendor Magento has officially launched its New Relic Reporting extension for Magento, designed to provide customers with a deeper understanding of their applications’ performance and customer engagement activities. In honor of this update, Magento customers can get a special 60-day trial of New Relic.

Magento retailers can now access powerful software analytics data through custom dashboards delivered by New Relic Insights—to answer such questions as, How is my storefront performing and what are customers doing throughout the shopping experience? This extension was built for Magento by another New Relic partner, Blue Acorn, and allows for even further customization so retailers can bubble up the most relevant data for their needs and make informed decisions and updates for their business.

The New Relic Reporting extension for Magento is designed to allow retailers to

  • Use the New Relic Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solution to improve site speed and stability through end-to-end transaction tracing, code-level performance analysis, and easy-to-use dashboards and alerts.
  • Easily see the impact of Magento code changes in APM by displaying dashboard “markers” whenever there is a flush cache event or module update.
  • Use New Relic Insights to access a rich set of Magento data (including order activity, average order value, catalog size, and installed modules) through real-time, customized dashboards that show engagement data and other elements impacting your business.
