iOS 7: A Data Snapshot Of The First 48 Hours

Apple officially launched iOS 7 about 48 hours ago! Every time there is a new version of Apple’s Operating System, users have historically upgraded fairly quickly, especially in comparison to upgrade rates for new versions of the Android operating system, which tend to be lower because of the fragmented nature of Android devices (we’ll keep you posted on adoption rates when KitKat launches later this year). Over the last few weeks since the developer version of iOS 7 came out, we’ve seen multiple app developers put out new versions  – mostly consisting of support for iOS 7, and of course the occasional bug fixes. (I personally updated *at least* 30 apps in the 24 hours leading up to the launch of iOS 7.)

From the hundreds of apps and millions of end users we monitor, we took a quick snapshot of the first 48 hours since iOS 7 launched, and hacked together this infographic for you. Take a look.
