As Windows Azure expands its offerings, we are committed to providing users support for those new products and services. We already provide real time app performance for Windows Azure Virtual Machines and Windows Azure Cloud Services, Web and Worker Role Instances. And we’ve recently added support for Windows Azure SQL Databases as a plugin on the New Relic Platform.
Today at Build 2013, we raised the bar yet again with the announcement of our support for Windows Azure Web Sites and Windows Azure Mobile services. Now New Relic customers can easily add immediate insight into the performance of their apps built on Windows Azure Web Sites, as well as mobile applications using Windows Azure Mobile Services.
“With Windows Azure, customers can quickly build, deploy and manage applications across a variety of platforms. New Relic support for Windows Azure helps Windows Azure users monitor the performance and health of their applications in real-time so they can focus on building great applications rather than worrying about application and infrastructure performance.”
— Scott Guthrie, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Server and Tools
With New Relic for Azure Web Sites, users get an optimized New Relic .NET agent designed specifically for Web Sites. This provides deep, real time insight and analytics for the performance of applications deployed on Web Sites.
In support of Windows Azure Mobile Services, users can leverage New Relic for Mobile Apps to get real time performance monitoring of native iOS and Android mobile apps. This includes end-to-end visibility – from the individual mobile device to the Windows Azure Mobile Services backend service.
