It brings me great joy to announce the creation of New Relic K.K., affirming New Relic’s commitment to the Japanese market. We are honored to already call some of Japan’s most innovative companies our customers, including Rakuten and Sansan. And, we look forward to building a team based in Tokyo dedicated to helping innovative software teams across Japan.
I have long admired Japan for its culture of innovation. As a software developer, I am especially fond of the Japanese philosophy of “kaizen”—which centers around the concept of continuous improvement. Building great software that your customers love to use is an iterative process that requires visibility into the performance of your entire digital system. New Relic is dedicated to giving companies the confidence to continually improve the performance of their digital experience for their customers.
We are proud to partner with Japan Cloud (JCC) as our long-term Japanese joint venture partner. The leaders at JCC have a stellar track record of successfully partnering with US-based SaaS companies in Japan, including Salesforce, Marketo, Concur, Demandware, and Kyriba. Together, we will work together to accelerate New Relic’s momentum in this exciting market.
