The rise of DevOps and microservices is helping to make software development faster and more efficient. But at the same time, breaking up monolithic applications and developmental silos also creates new workflow complexities.

“How do you make sure all of these different teams—which now own all of these different pieces of the puzzle—are working together toward a common goal? How do you share information across those teams?”

Those were the questions addressed in a talk entitled “Next Level Analytics: New Relic’s Core Capabilities and Data Types,” presented at FutureStack: London by New Relic’s Susie Dirks and Henry Shapiro, respectively senior mobile product manager and principal product manager for data platforms.

The New Relic Digital Intelligence Platform, Henry said, can deliver information and insight with “a level of granularity that helps you troubleshoot more effectively.” But that kind of data is most effective when it allows you to “stitch together a story across all the pieces of your stack.”
