Announcing the FutureStack14 Meet OK Go Winners!

Last week we were excited to reveal that FutureStack14, our annual user and technology conference in San Francisco October 8th and 9th would welcome the fun and innovative band OK Go to headline our kickoff party.

But that was only part of the fun. We also created a unique contest that would let five lucky FutureStack14 attendees meet and greet the band after their show at San Francisco’s iconic Warfield Theater. All you had to do to be eligible was register for FutureStack14 by midnight of Tuesday, September 16.

We’re pleased to say that the response was tremendous, but we have managed to select our handful of rock-and-roll winners. These five lucky data nerds will get a chance to spend a few minutes face-to-face with OK Go band members Damian Kulash, Tim Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Ross—and get a signed copy of their new album Hungry Ghosts:

Michael Lynch, senior director, software engineering,

Diana Olin, program manager, Adobe

Andrew Wen, software engineer, Zendesk

Rosette Diaz, software engineer, Norse

Tobias Franoszek, CTO, Kipu Systems

Even if you didn’t win the chance to meet OK Go up close and personal, don’t miss the chance to see and hear them play live at FutureStack14 on Wednesday, October 8—and to attend to all of FutureStack at beautiful Fort Mason on the waterfront in San Francisco on October 8th and 9th. Register now, the price goes up $100 on September 21. It’s going to be an amazing show!'
