What does digital transformation mean to you and your business? For Thomas Squeo, senior vice president of digital transformation at communication and network infrastructure services provider West Corporation, it’s a process that encompasses the full spectrum of the company’s operations, from product development to finances. Or, as Thomas put it, “from concept to cash.

At FutureStack16 San Francisco, Thomas was interviewed by Michael Krigsman, industry analyst and host of CXOTalk. Part of West’s digital transformation, Thomas explained, involves embracing enterprise architecture, including repositioning IT at the very heart of the company. This process is more than just an “efficiency play.” Instead, it allows West to figure out “What nimbleness and agility can IT bring to the business?”
