Call for Prognostications: How Will Modern Software Change the Tech of Tomorrow?

New Relic’s FutureStack promises to be a no-holds barred celebration of modern software and data nerdery. We’ll be debating software’s impact on our world, and considering the technical and cultural components needed to build it, break it – and ultimately –improve it.

Help Shape the Future
As part of the conference, we’ll be looking at innovation and creativity through a technological lens. And we want to hear your visions for the future of design, distributed software, mobile computing and cultural change.

We’re looking for sessions and talks on the advancing of technology and on how we can strengthen community and collaborative innovation. Tell us how wearable computing might impact our perception of self and make our lives more quantifiable and optimizable. Show us how data mapping could transform and enhance the development of our cities. Give us a blueprint for the types of interfaces we’ll be using to interact with our apps and our software.

Highlighting Diversity
We believe that diversity is at the core of the future. So we’re looking for new ideas and perspectives from a wide range of backgrounds. Our Call for Proposals is open to everyone — regardless of whether you come from a non-technical background, an under-represented community or have never spoken at a conference before.

As a selected speaker, you’ll receive full admission to the conference and three days free accommodation at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.

But hurry! Our Call for Proposals ends August 11, 2013. (Selected speakers will be notified by August 18.) Submit your proposal not before it’s too late – the future will be here sooner than you think.'
