PyCon is finally here! And we’re excited to be part of this amazing conference and getting together with other members of the Python community. Check out this fantastic lineup of events we’ll be part of:
Party with New Relic, YouTube, Skullcandy, Loggly and Rackspace
Friday. March 9th: 7 pm – 9 pm
Join us as we host the most epic conference after-party with musical guest Mike Relm. Dance the night away as Mike rocks the house. There will be schwag and giveaways galore including a tablet computer, two iPod docs and a set of Aviator headphones. All 800 tickets are gone, but we may have more tickets available the day of the event. Get on the waitlist for more info.
Graham Dumpleton presents Web Server Bottlenecks and Performance Tuning
(Saturday, March 10th: 1:35 pm – 2:35 pm)
Join our own Graham Dumpleton as he discusses a range of factors that can influence the performance of a Python web application and the various limiting factors with WSGI server stacks.
Stop by Our Booth
(Friday, March 9th and Saturday, March 10th: 10 am – 5 pm)
Come by booth #508 for a demo of New Relic on Python and a chance to win some cool Skullcandy schwag.
Python 5k Fun Run
(Saturday, March 10th: 7am)
Join our Director of Engineering Darin Swanson, Python programmer Jesse Noller, and over 140 conference attendees for the inaugural PyCon 5k fun run. And best of all, the proceeds of the run go to three great charities: Autism Speaks, the American Cancer Society, and the Epilepsy Foundation.
We’re also giving away 30 days of New Relic free for PyCon attendees! Stop by our booth for more info. And New Relic is looking for a new Python engineer. Let us know if you’re interested!
For real-time updates from the conference, follow @NewRelic and #PyCon. See you there!
