PyCon Party 2012: New sponsors Rackspace and YouTube join Skullcandy, Loggly and New Relic for epic event

PyCon is always a special event and 2012 promises to be no different. Especially with the announcement that Loggly, New Relic, Rackspace, Skullcandy and YouTube are joining forces to throw a party on Friday March 9th, from 7 – 9 pm at the Hyatt (not the Hilton as previously stated).

What better way to cap off the first day of PyCon than networking with your peers over free cocktails, music, games, and food? But wait, there’s more! The Python coders over at Skullcandy — known for its premium headphones, earbuds, and gaming headsets — are giving away some sweet schwag during the conference and at the party. So there will be a few opportunities to win cool stuff!

And getting to the party will be easier than ever. As mentioned above, it is at the Hyatt Santa Clara, adjacent to the convention center (NOT at the Hilton as previously stated). So get ready for a great conference and be ready to have some fun. Register for the party today!  See you there!

Please note: At this time, a total 500 tickets have been placed on the registration page and 350 of these have been registered for. Space is limited and we are working diligently with the Hyatt staff to secure more space and open the tickets to a total of 700 (or more). If tickets are sold out, be sure to add yourself to the waiting list so we can work to get you in!
