New Relic and GigaSpaces partner to help companies deploy, manage, and optimize Java apps on and off the cloud.

GigaSpaces TechnologiesToday we announced a new partnership with GigaSpaces Technologies, the developer of the industry-leading eXtreme Application Platform (XAP). New Relic RPM fully supports GigaSpaces’ platform offering on and off the cloud and is available to GigaSpaces customers at preferred prices.

XAP supports mission-critical applications that demand extreme performance including large-scale web applications based on popular frameworks like Java EE, Spring Framework and Jetty. It allows existing enterprise applications to run in both virtualized environments—in private or public clouds—or in traditional data centers and move among them quickly and easily with only minor code changes. New Relic RPM operates seamlessly in both cloud and dedicated server environments, enabling devops teams to monitor, troubleshoot and tune web applications deployed on GigaSpaces’ platform.

Nati Shalom, GigaSpaces CTO said today “As more and more organizations begin to leverage the cloud in combination with their data center activities for IT efficiency and cost savings, we can offer them tremendous advantages through our partnership with New Relic. By adding New Relic’s deep visibility into application performance to the power, speed and reliability of the XAP platform, our customers are better equipped to deploy, manage, and optimize their applications, both in testing and production.”
