Acquia selects New Relic as app management tool of choice for customers of Acquia Network and Acquia Managed Cloud

The have been enthusiastic proponents of New Relic’s PHP solution from the beginning and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support they have show us. That brings us to today’s news…

Today we announced that Acquia has selected New Relic as it’s web application management tool of choice, and is offering Bronze-level subscriptions free of charge to customers of Acquia Network and Acquia Managed Cloud. Now, Acquia customers building their sites on Drupal can use New Relic to monitor, troubleshoot, and tune their business-critical PHP web applications.

Acquia offers free Drupal distributions, commercial support, and a cloud-based hosting platform for one stop Drupal infrastructure support. Acquia’s portfolio of Drupal products and services, along with the Acquia Network of support experts and management tools, combine to create an unparalleled enterprise Drupal solution. All told, Acquia’s solutions serve up more than 2 billion page views a month. New Relic is integrated with the Acquia Network subscription service and will be provisioned automatically for customers of the Acquia Managed Cloud. Additionally, New Relic will be run on all Acquia properties and applications, including its Drupal-as-a-Service platform, Drupal Gardens, which hosts over 40,000 sites.

So, you have apps deployed with Acquia and you want fee New Relic? No problem. Implementing it is easy and typically takes just a couple of minutes. Acquia Managed Cloud customers will have New Relic automatically provisioned for them. Customers hosting their own sites can log into the Acquia Network, select New Relic from the Services page and follow the onscreen instructions. Easy!'
