Come Podcast with Us!

One of the many awesome but little-known features about our San Francisco office is that we have a state of the art podcast studio. Over the last few months, we’ve been working on getting it properly set up — bringing in an iMac, microphones, mixers, and other fun audio equipment. Most recently, we brought in 5by5 Studios and NodeUp to record this episode of Dan Benjamin’s Quit! show and these two NodeUps. Today, we’d like to invite the community to apply for the chance to come podcast with us as well!

Podcasting Studio

We know that podcasts are an incredible, increasingly growing channel to share knowledge, tell stories, and connect with others. We also know that for many, finding a space outside of your garage to record in can be quite difficult! This is why we’d like to help by offering our fully equipped recording studio to podcast organizers.
In particular, we’re interested in hearing proposals for us to host developer podcasts on the cutting edge of software. Some example topics we’d love to hear about:

    • Languages! Ruby, PHP, Node.js, Python, Java, .NET
    • Web & Mobile application development
    • Data analytics
    • DevOps
    • Tech news & cultures

How can I get involved?

The first thing you’ll need to do is fill out this form to get in touch with our Community team (include in the notes section that you’re interested in podcasting). Our studio is open for recording during 11 am – 4pm, Monday through Friday. Once we get your application, we’ll let you know if your podcast is a good fit and get back to you on our availability and next steps!

So if you or anyone you know runs an awesome podcast that you think we should host, let us know! As always, you have any questions, ping us on Twitter. We’re excited to help you get podcasting!
