Containers are one of the hottest topics in the industry right now, and our FutureStack15 panel addressing the operational considerations for running containers in production was one of the best attended sessions at the event.

In a panel discussion called “Containers in Production: Crazy? Awesome? Or Crazy Awesome!,” moderator Stevan Arychuk welcomed an awesome group of container vendors, users, and New Relic experts. Participants included Mark Mandel, Developer Advocate for the Google Cloud Platform; Banjot Chanana, Senior Director Enterprise Product Management at Docker; Tim Gross, Product Manager at Joyent; and New Relic’s own Lead Site Reliability Engineers Sean P. Kane and Karl Matthias, co-authors of the recent book Docker: Up and Running, Shipping Reliable Containers in Production from O’Reilly.
