typesafe_logoGood news for Typesafe customers! We’re excited to formally announce our partnership with Typesafe, provider of the leading Reactive platform and the company behind Play Framework, Akka and Scala. All Typesafe customers get New Relic Standard free of charge to monitor apps built on the Play Framework. We’re thrilled to be expanding our world-class monitoring solution to the Play Framework and as a commitment to a successful partnership we’re working hard to expand our monitoring capabilities to the entire Typesafe platform.

Typesafe is dedicated to helping developers build Reactive applications on the JVM. With the Typesafe Reactive Platform, including Play Framework, Akka, and Scala, developers can deliver highly responsive user experiences backed by a resilient and event-driven application stack that scales effortlessly on multicore and cloud computing architectures.

“This partnership with New Relic is significant for us because we’ll now be able to offer deep visual insight into Play Framework apps, which is critical for customers and users going into production,” said Dave Martin, Sr. Director, Business Development at Typesafe. “Awareness of issues and a tool to troubleshoot those issues is essential, since delivering a target Quality of Service depends on knowing what an application’s actual quality is. We believe this partnership with New Relic will bring richer insight into the internals of Typesafe Reactive Platform applications.”
