By Posted in New Relic News, Top Post, Video 12 August 2013

Of late, there’s been a new playing field for software developers. The industry analysts over at Red Monk have been calling them ‘The New Kingmakers’. And developers are being credited with disputing everything from traditional sales channels, to recruiting efforts, brand loyalty and even the 9 – 5 work day.

Today, there are quite a few coding founders and CEOs that are at the forefront of this movement. We recently held a roundtable discussion with four of them in front of an audience of reporters and editors. The panelists included:

* Don Dodge, Moderator and Developer Advocate at Google
* Tom Preston-Werner, CEO of GitHub
* Suhail Doshi, CEO of MixPanel
* Lew Cirne, CEO of New Relic
* John Collision, CEO of Stripe
