New Relic and HipChat Together At Last
We just integrated New Relic with the very cool collaboration and team chat service HipChat! If you’re already a HipChat user, then you know what this means, right? It’s time to create a new room dedicated to receiving your New Relic alerts and notifications.
The beauty of this integration is it allows you to have New Relic alerts and deployment notifications automatically posted into the HipChat room of your choice. When alerts appear in your HipChat room, your team can jump into your dedicated room and easily collaborate on how best to solve the problem. And when someone deploys new code to production, bam a deployment notification shows up in your HipChat room so everyone knows that something has changed. SUPER USEFUL!
Getting started is easy. Just go to Alert notifications in your Account settings and enable HipChat. The screenshot below shows you just what that setup will look like.
