Reflections on RailsConf 2012

We had a terrific time at RailsConf last week. This year’s event was the largest ever, drawing over 1,300 Rails aficionados to downtown Austin. And Ruby Central did an amazing job making sure the conference went on without a hitch.

Thank you to everyone who attended our panel session, stopped by our booth and came to our party. The Rails community has grown tremendously since we introduced New Relic just four short years ago. It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet new members of the vibrant Rails community. We enjoyed getting to know you and answering your questions.

A special thanks to our panelists:

Jesse Proudman, panel moderator and CEO of the Blue Box Group
Pitr Vernigorov, Senior Architect at UKEN Games
Joshua Warchol, VP of Technology at Fanzter
Tim Sturge, Director of Operations at Zendesk
Jon PliskeGroupon
